Just to let you know alittle bit more about the monkeyhouse cd's. I am a member of the "monkeyhouse" project, which started around this time last year (2002). Roger asked me if I was interested in working on a new music project and of course I said Yippee!!. He informed me that all I needed to do was to start off with a 4 track tape player, and to work on a tape of my own, which after about a month will be given to him, and then I would get someone else's tape in exchange. I asked him " So who is the tape from ? " , and all he could say about the person's involved was , "Well I can't really tell you who they are , just that they don't know who you are either , and there are 3 other people involved, Monkeyhouse west (me), east, north , and south. " .
So after I completed my first tape, and recieved my 2nd tape I eagerly played it in my tape player, and spent the next month recording to the tape, adding whatever came to mind. This process went on for the next 2 tape exchanges and then in early spring Roger informed us all that the tapes were all turned in , and that he was going to make CD's of each one, and that we were all going to finally meet, and listen to the product.
We all agreed to meet at my house , and some of us had an idea who the other people on the tape where, but were not sure. So it was very exciting to get together , and then when we all nestled into the basement couch's and chairs, we played each tape and blew our minds. I was utterly speachless to hear what the others had done to my tape, and they were all dumbfounded as well, listening to them over and over throughout the night, untill our heads went numb or we just passed out.

Anyways, I thought you might like to know alittle bit about how the monkey house project evolved alittle, because disc one is absolutely insane, disc 2 which just came out is no different, and I can't wait to hear 3 and 4. ( These discs are a collaboration from the final 4 discs, taking the best, or worst songs from each monkeyhouse's members disc). There are other people who participated on each members disc and that is why there are so many names ,alias's, and whatnot on the back of cd.... Later -- monekyhouse west.
